IWC - Clean Rivers Team 2007

The Clean Rivers Team program led by Don Propst is back for 2007. People are already excited and ready to get involved. A tentative schedule appears below. This year the focus is an early season effort to remove as much trash as possible from the upper portion of the Raccoon watershed while there is enough water to float loaded canoes.

Don really enjoys being on the river, even if the number is him. It is time consuming and more work, but yet highly enjoyable. This year he will install a towing system on his car to facilitate solo shuttles.

Don is open to any and all suggestions or comments to make the group cleanup events more enjoyable or efficient. He personally thinks the more participants, the more fun people have on these events. Please contact Don directly to offer suggestions or to volunteer.

Important note: The Clean Rivers Team receives support from local USDA RC&D Earth Team programs. This important support imposes two restrictions on particpation. No children under age 14 are permitted to particpate, and all particpants aged 14-17 must have written parental consent.
