Are you ready to get out on the water?
If you do not know where to go or you want to get connected with people who are heading out, check out the various links on this page.  While you may prefer solitude, it is also important to be safe.  "Buddy up" while making trips on the water -- especially if you are not as experienced with a new location or paddling in general.  IWC members will generously share experience and knowledge.  You will also find that enoying the outdoor wonders with others is quite therapeutic.

To electonically connect with other members of the IWC, join the free IowaWhitewater group on Yahoo!.  IWC members regularly exchange information and plan trips on this message board.  Don't be surprised to see quick messages from people heading out "this afternoon".
