River/Stream: Wapsipinicon River

Built: original 1856; rebuilt 1906; most recent reconstruction began 1966 completed 1967

Warning Signs: none

Portage: There is plenty of area on river left where one could take out (and parking at the little park type area). You can walk around the dam pretty easy.

Comments: The Central City Trail, a paved multi-use path, runs through town on river left. Refer to the aerial map link above.
