Portage: Take out at Skunk River Access on river left above the dam and opposite of the mill. (Constructed fall/winter 2007-08.)
Comments: Both sides of the river are connected by a foot bridge at the mill. As canoeists portage at Wagaman, they can travel across the bridge to the mill, a bed and breakfast beside the mill, and into Lynnville (good ice cream at the Zip’n gas station!). The mill is open every Sunday, 2-4 pm, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Private mill tours can also be arranged.
